In 2007, we sold the most real estate on Pender Island (Victoria Real Estate Board 2007 statistics). Therefore, it makes good sense to enlist one of our agents to assist you in buying or selling an island home or property.
Pender Island Realty has been connecting buyers and sellers for over 30 years . . . longer than anyone else on Pender Island. The company is owned and operated by long time South Pender Island resident Rob Southey.

Rob Southey - Owner
Rob’s life on Pender Island started in 1971 when he and some friends purchased a 60 acre working farm on South Pender Island.
He and his wife, Diane, made the weekend commute from Vancouver for the next 23 years before building their oceanfront home and moving permanently to Pender Island in 1994.
Rob’s business background includes 30 years with Pentax Canada Inc., most recently as National Sales Manager, and 10 years as the owner/operator of Pender Bobcat Service, a local landscaping and septic system business.
He is a licensed realtor, and in January 2004 completed the purchase of Pender Island Realty from its former owners.
In the spirit of community involvement, Rob is a Captain in the volunteer Pender Island
Fire/Rescue Department and is a past director of the Pender Island Recycling Society.
With a 36 year history on Pender Island, Rob is very well known and possesses a wide range of local knowledge and experiences with respect to the islands and its people.

Al Trelford - Managing Broker
Allan has been an active member of the Victoria Real Estate Board since 1973, serving as a Director of the board for 3 years and as President in 2002.
He was the General Sales Manager of Re/Max Camosun (Victoria's largest real estate company) from 1989 to 2000. He returned to real estate sales in 2001.
He and his wife, Drennan, moved to Pender Island in August 2003.
His 34 years of Vancouver Island and Pender Island real estate experience and his extensive real estate knowledge benefit both buyers and sellers.

David Sherman
Dave was first licensed by the Victoria Real Estate Board in 1979 and bought property on Pender Island the following year. He and his wife, Donna, became full time residents in 1995, the same year that he joined the Pender Island Realty team.
During the past 13 years, Dave has helped more people buy or sell their home or property on Pender Island than any other realtor.

Mike Aston

A love of sailing sparked Mike’s passion for Pender and in 2005, after researching the local market for several years, he and his wife Donna left the UK to make it their permanent home.
Mike’s extensive business experience ranges from finance, banking and investment to industrial design, development and project management, and includes several successful residential design and renovation projects. He is also an active member of the local Coastguard Auxiliary (Pacific Region) Search & Rescue Unit and Vice President of the Salish Sea Marine Rescue Society.

Anna Law
After visiting Pender Island for 12 years, Anna, her husband, Darren, and their two young daughters moved to the island in 2004.
She has been active in the community for the last two years, serving on the board of the Pender Island Child Care Society, as vice chair in 2007, and volunteering with the Parents Advisory Council at Pender Islands Community School.
Before venturing into the world of real estate, Anna owned a retail business, managed a restaurant and worked in sales and marketing of a high end resort.
